In the Medici Gallery at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln city campus, artist James Hapke and I sat across from each other and drew one another into a 6' x 3' copper plate for 24 consecutive hours. We used various intaglio printmaking techniques to engrave and etch the plate. Later we inked the copper plate and printed an edition at Constellation Studios. This project was made possible with support from Ribbens Construction and the UNL Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts' Endowment Fund.
